Apple unveiled the 2026 iPad Air in early March, and it just hit store shelves on Wednesday, so it’s brand new. The design of the tablet didn’t change versus the 2025 model — this is a “chip and ship” refresh. The most significant modification is that a newer, faster M4 processor replaces the M3 in the version that launched in spring 2025. And Apple also built in more, faster RAM.
